Roman helmet
The Roman helmet was standard gear for most roman soldiers. The helmet only provided moderate to weak protection, but was mainly used as protection for the upper head if an arrow hit the helmet.

Roman armor was used to prevent the damage of any spare hits to the torso. It was usually made of a mixture of materials. Such as leather, or iron. The armor's main metal component (and sometimes, even fiber varied depending on rank)
