Cimbarian War
This was a war where the Cimbri, and Tutones Invaded Roman territory. They were, unaware that the Romans were holding the area. After attempting to make peace with the Romans, the barbarians were eventually forced to attack. As soon as the tribes started attacking a massive firefight took place leading to the death of 10,000 Soldiers ( This number is an estimate of both sides combined.) The Romans were 150,000 troops strong. While the Cimbri, and Tutones both had 300,000 troops combined. The Roman lost the most soldier in the first firefight with about 70% of the deaths being Roman. Then, war was declared on the Cimbri, and Tutones tribes. This led to a war that lasted 12 long years and resulted in the death of 418,000 people. The war took place on 113-101 B.C.E. AFTERMATH.

The Conquest of Britain.
The conquest of Britain was a war started by Gaius Marius. It was started because, the Saxons kept assaulting Rome from Britain, so Gaius Marius had the Roman Navy assemble, and assault Britain. Though, when the reached the mainland, the barbarians had an assault force waiting. The Romans finally beat the Barbarians back, and those who weren't killed were either merged into the Roman army or were taken back to Rome as POW. The Romans also built a labor camp in their port town. (Which would later be known as London.) After many years of being present in Britain, and Scotland, Romans were pushed back by the Saxons POW, and soldiers that rebelled. They sent in warships to recover the troops.
